3 tablespoons grated
sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1/3 cup soft butter 1/3 cup flour 5 large tart apples 1/3 cup
cider
Preheat oven
to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine grated sharp cheddar cheese,
brown sugar, nutmeg, soft butter and flour. Peel, core and slice large
tart apples. Arrange in a buttered pie dish. Pour cider over apples.
Crumble flour mixture over. Bake for 40 minutes or until apples are
soft.
