4 large baking apples
2 teaspoons raisins 2 teaspoons soft butter 2 teaspoons sliced
almonds 4 teaspoons melted red currant jelly 2 tablespoons sugar 1
teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup dark rum
Preheat oven
to 350 degrees. Cut apples in halves horizontally, remove core. Combine
raisins, butter, sliced almonds, and melted red currant jelly. Spoon in
core of apple halves. Sprinkle a mixture of sugar and cinnamon over apples.
Pour a splash of dark rum over apples. Bake till tender. Home |
