ANGEL FOOD CAKE SUPREME
1 1/2 cups (12) egg
whites 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2
teaspoons vanilla 1/4 teaspoon almond extract 1 cup sugar, super fine
1 cup cake flour 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
Preheat
oven to 360 degrees. In an electric mixer, combine egg whites, cream of tartar,
salt vanilla and almond extract. Beat to a medium stiff peak. Gradually beat in
sugar. Fold in cake flour and confectioners' sugar. Spoon in a 10-inch
ungreased angel cake mold. Bake for about an hour. Test center with a cake
tester. Invert cake and cool completely before unmolding
