CHOCOLATE CAKE SHEILA
Serves 8 to 10
1 3/4 cups flour 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup cocoa 1 1/2
teaspoons baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs 1 cup milk 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup water, boiling
Butter and flour a 9-inch round cake mold.
Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. Add remaining
ingredients except water. Beat 2 to 3 minutes Stir in water. Spread mixture
in cake pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Unmold on rack to cool.
