NUT CAKE
serves 16
1 cup
brown sugar 1/2 cup butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla 1
cup raisins 1 cup nuts, chopped, walnuts, or pecans 1 cup milk 2
cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla; add eggs
and beat well. Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk,nuts and
raisins. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool. Slice and serve buttered, (optional).
