AMARETTO CHEESECAKE

cup wafer crumbs 1/2 cup ground almonds, toasted 2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted 4 8-ounces cream cheese, softened 1 cup
sugar 3 tablespoons flour 4 eggs 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup
Amaretto liqueur 1/2 cup apricot jam 1 tablespoon Amaretto liqueur
36 whole almonds, unblanched 3 ounces semi sweet chocolate, melted
CRUST: Combine first 4 ingredients. Press onto bottom of a greased
9 in.springform pan. Set aside. FILLING: Combine cream cheese, sugar
and flour, mixing until well blended. Add eggs, one at the time, mixing until
combined. Blend in sour cream and liqueur; pour over crust. Bake at 450
degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 250 degrees; continue baking for 1 hour.
Run knife around rim of pan. Chill.
GLAZE: Melt jam. Add liqueur.
Strain mixture and pour over cake. Garnish with chocolate dipped almonds.
