DATES AND BACON APPETIZERS

makes 40

40 large pitted dates
12 slices bacon
40 wooden toothpicks

Cut bacon in half, crosswise, and lengthwise.
Wrap each date with bacon.
Broil 5 inch from heat for 8 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Turn once.
Cool on paper towels, and serve warm.
