FRIED SARDINES

Makes 12

12 canned whole sardines
2 teaspoons white wine Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup flour
3 eggs
2 cups bread crumbs
oil for frying
1 recipe tartar sauce

Drain sardines. Marinate in white wine Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice, for about one hour.
Roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and cover in fine breadcrumbs.
Deep fry at 350 degrees for a minute or until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce.
