GERMAN CUCUMBER SALAD

Serves: 10

6 medium English cucumbers
2 teaspoons coarse salt

For dressing:
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 medium diced onion chopped
2 tablespoons chopped dill
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup oil

Peel cucumbers and slice thinly. Combine with salt in a mixing bowl. Marinate for 30 minutes. Drain in a colander and dry thoroughly.
Combine the remaining ingredients. Add to cucumbers, mix well, taste and add more salt if needed. Marinate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
