Description: This cheese comes from
the coastal region between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais in the department of
Nord-Pas-de Calais. The cheese makers are the family Bernard de
Wierre-Effroy where each member has a role to play from the looking after the
herd, cheese making and marketing. The family keep a few rooms available where
one can sleep and enjoy a evening of cheese and wine. The Cap Gris Nez is
cheese that represents the cheeses made in the North of France such as the
Thierache and the Maroilles. The taste is creamy and full of flavor.
