Chocolate bourbon pecan pie

    1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked

    3 large eggs
    1 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons sweet butter
    1 cup dark corn syrup
    1 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/4 cup Bourbon
    1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate
    1 cup whole pecans


    Preheat oven tot 375 degrees. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, vanilla and bourbon until well combined. Strain.
    Grate the chocolate into bits. Sprinkle over the bottom of unbaked pie crust. Cover with the pecans.
    Pour mixture into pie shell.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool for an hour before serving.
