SHRIMP
SCAMPI
Also known as scampi style shrimp
Serves: 4

tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon butter 1 large chopped shallot 2
teaspoons minced garlic 1 pound cleaned shrimp 1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons chopped parsley 1 teaspoon white wine Worcestershire
2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon white
pepper 2 cups cooked rice
Melt butter in a sauté pan. Add
shallot, and garlic. Sauté over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in the
shelled, deveined, cleaned shrimp until they start turning pink. Add the
remaining ingredients. Reduce sauce over medium heat. Serve hot with rice.
