Makes about 24

1 pound cleaned bay scallops
12 slices bacon
1 1/4 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons lemon juice
40 toothpicks

Marinate scallops with seasoning, pepper, and lemon juice. Cut bacon in half, crosswise, and lengthwise.
Wrap each scallop with bacon. Broil 5-inch from heat for 8 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Turn once.
