MAYONNAISE
PESTO SAUCE
Makes: 2 cups
1 cup mayonnaise For pesto: 2
cups fresh basil 2/3 cup olive oil 2 cloves garlic 1/4 cup grated
parmesan 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1
teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
In a blender or food
processor, chop the basil, garlic, walnuts, Parmesan cheese and vinegar. Add
the olive oil in a slow stream until it is all combined. Stir in salt and
pepper. Mix in mayonnaise.
