MEAT
SAUCE
Makes: about 4 cups
2 pounds lean ground beef 2
tablespoons olive oil 3 medium chopped onion 2 14-ounces can crushed
tomatoes 4 tablespoons tomato paste 1 beef bouillon cubes 2 cloves
minced garlic 2 teaspoons dried basil salt and pepper to taste
In a skillet, heat the oil, and brown beef until it loses its pinkness.
Transfer to a pot. Peel and chop onions. Saute until transparent. Add to
meat. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium low heat, covered, for 30 to
40 minutes.
